Welcome to our website!  Ekklesia is a Maine Christian alternative rock band.  As of right now, the members are Jeff Sutter (Guitar, bass, vocals) and Gary Choate (Guitar, bass, vocals) and Rich D.J. Rocit (Drums).  We are excited about reaching to the lost through our music.  Ekklesia is the Greek word for church.  It is pronounced as ek-klay-see'-ah.  All though our main style of music is alternative rock, we also play contemporary praise and worship.  We do cover tunes from bands like Day of Fire, Jonah 33, etc. 

Jeff Sutter attends River Rock Christian Fellowship church in Chelsea, Maine.  Gary Choate attends Calvary Foursquare church in Gardiner, Maine.  He plays in his church's worship team. 

We are a non-denominational band.  We believe in salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, saved by grace through faith.  We are open to minister any where God leads us.  If you want to book us for an event, please check out our contact info page.  We are a free-will offering band, which means we don't charge anything to minister.
